Lots of space for boats to back into the lake. The boat ramp itself is really long so most people drive down one side of the boat ramp facing forward then make a 180 degree turn right at the end of the ramp and back down the rest of the way.
My family & I used to go to Roosevelt starting when I was a teen back in the 1980s. We always used the boat launch here at Cholla, then would take the truck with cab-over camper to the 2nd bridge and set up camp under the bridge in the cove while I would pull the boat to the cove & meet them there. Good ramp, never crowded like the main ramp up stream. Roosevelt is a wonderful lake with plenty to do & see, especially if one has a boat. Also, some good riding trails for quads or dirt bikes on the SW side of the highway that are accessible from the road or the coves under the bridges
I docked my boat once back in 79. Yup me and ol hank used to fish and suck each other's teetz. Good time. Would recommend. So dock such boat.
